Avoiding shipping damage is so important to a successful transaction it cannot be overstated.
Ship with care because LP covers can get dented corners and seam-splits from shipping damage. The record is fairly sharp and when the package is shaken for hundreds of miles in a big vibrating truck the lp can split the record cover (seam split).
Remember, in my humble opinion, the post office or any other carrier you use to ship your products will literally toss these packages around.
Please make sure the LP cover does not touch the mailer box on the inside, so when the mailer box gets dented on the outside corner, the LP cover is far enough away so it will not get damaged.
BE SURE TO REMOVE THE RECORD FORM IT'S COVER TO STOP SEAM-SPLITS
Remove the lp from its cover, keep the lp in it's innersleeve
Wrap LP together with the cover securely, wrap with bubble wrap or newspaper and tape securely.
I have had new sealed LP's with seam splits because the record was able to move around in mailer box.
A good quality box is important I use the Priority mailer boxes from the post office these are free with labels so you can spend a little extra on packaging materials.
